Leeann, full points to your husband on this one. The climb up Clingman’s began about 4800 feet. And the way down descended about 1000 feet in ca. 2 miles. I’ll post pictures of the Trail pathway itself from time to time.
Harry, I am moving along, or so everyone tells me. I’m averaging just over 13 miles a day which is a good clip for starting. Plus I haven’t taken any days off like a lot of others already have. Or stopped in towns. I’m focusing on the hiking. So, maybe a little ahead of schedule.
I thought The Trail was pretty much a flat trail. My husband says it can get pretty rough sometimes. Who’s right?
